This office plans, consolidates, develops and promotes Alberta's demographic, economic and social statistics.

Overview

The Office of Statistics and Information (OSI) operates under the Office of Statistics and Information Act as the official Alberta statistical agency and Statistics Canada focal point for the province. OSI provides analytical and data support for subjects such as:

  • social, population, demographic and economic statistics
  • geospatial and geographic statistics on social and economic issues
